Breeding history up until the present
A little about miniature white schnauzer

We are very pleased that you are interested in the breed of miniature white schnauzers. The white schnauzer is the most recent colour of this breed and has existed in the Czech Republic since 1991. For the most part there are two bloodlines in the Czech Republic. The first line has its origin in the Czech Republic itself where white schnauzers originated in 1991 from miniature black schnauzers; the second line of white schnauzers has its origin in Poland where white schnauzers arose from miniature black and silver schnauzers 9-10 years ago. In 1992 the first Polish white schnauzer puppy was imported into the Czech Republic. The white colour arose through an accidental mutation of cells. Since then the breed of miniature white schnauzers has been recognized by the FCI and they may only mate with other white schnauzers.
The puppies that are being reared at present are 4th - 5th generation miniature white schnauzers. Now-a-days their external qualities are comparable to those of schnauzers of other colours.
The miniature white schnauzer is a sporting breed and you will have no problems training it or putting it through agility tests. It is a very clever and docile dog, very friendly towards its own family and kind to children.
Overall it is a healthy breed.
Its coat is trimmed and cut, it does not moult.

Breeding history up until the present

Welcome to Svarcava´s kennel homepage, we hope you enjoy :-)
We are young couple from Czech republic, we live in a country house with our two daughters Barbora and Natalia. We are situated in beautiful country setting of lined hills Brdske woods in small community within outdoors with fresh air and sunshine, lots of woods and fields.

We have been breeding schnauzers since 1985.

Our kennel Svarcava was found 1987.

In our kennel was born 239 puppies of schnauzers from 51 litters.

Originally we concentred on breeding
miniature black schnauzers (1985 - 1997),

then giant black schnauzers (1991 - 2000)

and miniature white schnauzers (since 1991 till present).

We had our first miniature black schnauzer female, Dalila od Danilky, the founder of the Svarcava kennel, a wonderful 12 years; our Daja had five litters of puppies: four litters of black pups and one litter of white pups.

In 1991 we also got a giant black schnauzer female, Gety Wlabroz. We love this giant noble dog which is also an excellent guard. We have reared two litters of giant black schnauzers from this female. Our Gety died when she was 9,5 years old.

We are proud of the fact that the first miniature white schnauzers born in the Czech Republic were born at our Svarcava kennel in 1991. Thus the breeding of white schnauzers from the Czech bloodline began. It is a great breeding success as this white colour arose from an accidental mutation of cells from miniature black schnauzers. We have happily seized the opportunity to improve and develop the rearing of white schnauzers in our country in the future.

We have 10 breeding females and 3 stud males in our kennel.

You are welcome to look at their pedigrees and the awards they have received at shows all over Europe. The successful litters that we have already had confirm that the pups we breed are among the most successful white schnauzers.

Our priority is the quality of the individuals we rear, not the quantity !
